Source Emission Testing

Gas Compostion Monitoring
Purpose: Conduct real-time process monitoring, record real-time data averaged over one-minute intervals. Track process changes over time and determine emissions over the entire process cycle.

Odour Testing
Purpose: Odour testing is conducted to identify and quantify odorous emissions and determine their potential impact on nearby communities.
When Needed:
When there are complaints from neighbours.
Assessing odor nuisance:wastewater treatment plants, landfills and farms.
Evaluating abatement systems: (e.g., a biofilter or activated carbon unit).
During environmental impact assessments.
Ambient Air Testing
Purpose: Ambient monitoring is essential to ensure employees are not exposed to concentrations that could cause irritation or long-term health effects.
Measument:
Inhalable or respirable dust
VOCs testing
Formaldehyde
Landfill gased (CH4, H2, H2S,etc)
Ozone (O3)
Noise Testing
Purpose: Noise testing is carried out to assess whether workplace sound levels exceed safe limits. It helps identify risks of hearing loss, tinnitus, or other health effects, and provides the basis for selecting appropriate hearing protection and control measures.
When Needed:
When exposed to high noise levels (typically above 85 dB(A) over 8 hours, or 140 dB(C) peak).
When new equipment, processes, or plant changes may alter noise levels.
